Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive In Kilimanjaro – Arusha National Park
Meet and greet at Kilimanjaro Airport upon arrival by The Muddy Dusty Professional Guide and receive a briefing about your safari to get a clear picture of what to expect. After the briefing, get transferred to your lodge in Arusha. After lunch depart to Arusha National Park. This small but beautiful Tanzanian National Park is the closest national park to both the famous Arusha ‘safari town’ (30 km) as well as the Kilimanjaro International Airport. Not only is the wildlife in the park abundant, but it is also one of the most beautiful and topographically varied parks in Tanzania. The park’s three most significant features include the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the notably different colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which was formed about fifteen million years ago!
Enjoy an thrilling afternoon game drive, visiting both the Momela Lakes and the Ngurdoto Crater. Wildlife which could be seen include African buffalos, elephants, hippos, giraffe, warthogs, antelopes, zebras, blue monkeys and sometimes a rare leopard or hyena.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park
Later breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park for game drives. Tarangire National Park shelter an area of 1360sq km (525sq miles) with scattered baobab trees, alternating with open acacia woodland which caters for wildlife food, open bush plains, swamps and rivers like river Tarangire. Also wildlife like Elephants, zebra, giraffe, dik dik and ostrich and different species of birds can be seeing without forgetting your lunch boxes.

Day 3: Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater
After Breakfast depart for Ngorongoro Crater rim where you will check in on arrival then have late lunch. After lunch, you will spend the rest of the day at leisure enjoying walking safaris around the surrounding areas and exploring the lodge’s facilities.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater
Next early breakfast, check out of the lodge with packed picnic lunch and proceed for a tour of the crater floor, which is home to numerous plains game and the big five. Spend the day within the crater and have lunch at one of the famous picnic spots in the park. In the evening you will return to the lodge which is strategically perched on the rim of the collapsed volcano, with the most wonderful views of the crater floor.

Day 5: Ngorongoro – Serengeti National Park
After an Early Breakfast at your lodge leaving from the park heading to the Great Serengeti, home to the big five and numerous plains game. Spend the rest of the day game viewing within the park along with packed lunch. In the evening be transferred to the lodge for rest, dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park
Devote the full day relishing game drives within the Great Serengeti. Serengeti is the home to Africa’s Big Five. In the evening drive back to the lodge for evening at leisure and hot dinner.

Day 8: Serengeti – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, relish morning game drives within the park, which is home to all the big five. Later proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for game drives, which are excellently known for its tree-climbing lions. Manyara is also home to flamingos, elephant, wildebeest, baboon, giraffe and numerous plains game.

Day 9: Lake Manyara – Kilimanjaro Airport – Departure
Enjoy the last game drive in Lake Manyara. Return to you lodge for breakfast. Thereafter depart for Kilimanjaro Airport to catch your outbound flight to your next destination.
